How to Request Your X/Twitter Archive
Request Your Archive from X
XeetDelete works from your full tweet archive, which you need to request directly from X. This gives you access to your entire history — unlike the API which limits you to 3,200 tweets.
- Log in to X (x.com) on a desktop browser.
- Go to Settings and Privacy → Your Account → Download an archive of your data.
- Click Request archive. You'll need to verify your identity.
- Wait for X to prepare your archive — this usually takes 24 hours, sometimes longer.
- You'll receive an email when it's ready. Go back to the same settings page and click Download.
- Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
- Find the file called
tweets.jsinside thedatafolder — this is what you'll upload to XeetDelete. Large archives are split intotweets-part1.js,tweets-part2.js, and so on — you'll upload all of the part files.
Note
The archive can take anywhere from a few hours to several days. If it's been more than 48 hours, try requesting it again.
